The e-Learning for Strengthening Higher Education (e-SHE), in partnership with Jimma University, hosted a one-day workshop at the main campus yesterday. Attended by representatives from the seven Jimma cluster member universities, the workshop provided a platform for productive discussions igniting a sense of collaboration. Dr. Jemal Abafita, President of Jimma University, opened the workshop, highlighting the significance of the gathering in fostering e-learning within the cluster universities and facilitating the exchange of invaluable experiences.
The agenda featured insightful presentations on e-SHE’s progress, key milestones, and the 2024 plan, including discussions on multimedia studio sharing guidelines and e-learning directives. The workshop concluded with participants visiting Jimma University’s newly constructed multimedia studio. Special thanks to Jimma University’s management and community for their hospitality and coordination, contributing to the event’s success.
