Instructors
e-SHE’s focus on capacity building begins with instructors, equipping them with the tools and expertise needed to excel in the digital classroom. In collaboration with Arizona State University, e-SHE offers two comprehensive courses designed to empower instructors to develop and deliver advanced digital curricula. These selected instructors will serve as catalysts for change, disseminating their knowledge to a network of peers across 50 public universities, potentially impacting 35,000 educators nationwide.
Students
As might be expected, at the heart of every educational endeavor are the students themselves. Through targeted training content and resources, e-SHE aims to empower students to thrive in the online learning environment. From enhancing essential digital skills to cultivating a mindset of adaptability, the e-SHE Program is dedicated to preparing students for success in the digital age. With the potential to impact a staggering 800,000 students for years to come, the vision is clear: to empower students with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.
ICT Experts
e-SHE recognizes the pivotal role of ICT experts in shaping the digital education landscape. That’s why its capacity-building Programs extend to these professionals, arming them with the skills and knowledge to leverage e-learning platforms effectively. By fostering a community of adept ICT experts, the Program is laying the groundwork for a robust digital infrastructure capable of supporting diverse educational needs.
The e-Learning for Strengthening Higher Education (e-SHE) is a multistakeholder initiative owned by the MoE, intended to boost the relevance, quality, access, and resilience of higher education in Ethiopia.
