Major Milestone for e-SHE!

We are thrilled to announce that the e-Learning for Strengthening Higher Education (e-SHE) project has reached a significant milestone. We have graduated 51 instructors who have completed capacity-building training to initiate digital education in higher education institutions in Ethiopia.

The graduation ceremony was a grand event, held in the presence of our partners and stakeholders at Dire Dawa University.

Training Program Details

32 instructors from various Ethiopian government institutions of higher learning underwent an 8-month training program in Instructional Design and Performance Improvement at Arizona State University Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College.

On December 12, 2023, they successfully graduated with a graduate certificate. In addition, the program also granted a Training of Trainers (ToT) certificate to 19 teachers who participated in the Master Class Training of Trainers at the college.

In partnership with Arizona State University, the program has been providing training sessions to enhance the capacity of instructors in designing and preparing digital education. These sessions include Master Class Training, Master Class Training of Trainers, and Instructional Design and Performance Improvement.

We are excited about the future of digital education in Ethiopia’s higher education institutions and look forward to seeing the impact of our graduates in their respective institutions.
